Will it be included in the EU track pack? Anyway, very nice looking trees I've been there, ...super touring in the 90's. Fantastic acoustics because of the hills.
Nice and all. But I'd love to know what brings about these decisions on tracks. I didn't see Salzburbring mentioned a great deal in the desired tracks topic. Is it financial? Are there deals in place that exclude Sector 3 from the big ones that everyone want?
Salzburgring was one station in the 2014 WTCC-Calendar. The upcoming WTCC 2014-Content for R3E will feature every track of that year, as far as I know.
Seriously? 1. Salzburgring has been known for a while, so why would it be requested? 2. Which 'big one' are you looking for? Spa? Confirmed. Nurburgring full? Confirmed. Silverstone? Confirmed. 3. We already know that the next tracks will be (in no order) Salzburgring, Shanghai, Paul Ricard, Macau, Silverstone and the Nordschleife, and this was known before that thread started. Decisions aren't going to be based on a small poll. Financial, yes, but I presume that's the cost of the license, the time involved in creating it, its appeal and a host of other factors balanced against a number of prospective sales; which you need in any business. In this specific case, it's also a circuit Alex / Com8 has worked on in the past and I can't wait to see the improvements in the new version.
Salzburgring is a fantastic circuit with lots of character in a beautiful setting. I don't feel its inclusion needs any further justification.
