Problem ad pops up in game and i cant close it

    i just updated the game and every time i open it an ad pops up and i cant close it then it wont let me get out of the game and i have to restart my computer idk if its the game or just my computer

    no it wasnt for r3e it was for some cloths thats why i was wondering if it was just a virus

    Try malware bytes anti malware.Most probable scenario, an ad script has attached itself to R3E.exe

    Try disabling the steam overlay. If that helps the problem then you have some malware serving up ads while a web browser is available (which the steam overlay is). R3E uses the overlay for some functionality, so disabling isn't a proper fix

    As people have suggested already, run anti malware software. Windows Defender also does a pretty good job, could try running that. I recommend a full scan. It's going to take forever but has the best chance of finding the most obscure stuff.
