then don't block the road. no, seriously.. most of the time the driving behaviour of the player is the problem here. We tend to drive not like race drivers would and we do unexpected things and moves. Seen that alot when people complained about the AI. In the end the player was at fault (most of the times). There could be several reasons they crash into you: 1. you brake too early 2. you choose a weird racing line 3. you don't respect their line and cross it 4. you don't give them enough room I don't really have problems with them.. occasional bumps are normal as they happen in real racing all the time. But you have to learn to drive with them and don't treat them like they just adapt to your driving style. You just cannot cut them off, close the door at corner entry while they stick their nose into it etc. Do you have one (or more) video as an example?
I have checked replays many times, i was convinced the ai car rammed me, pushed or nudged me and caused me to go off track as sbm mentioned above almost all occasions it was either just one of those racing incidents things, or I was not doing what I was supposed to do. There are times I do think they are too aggressive, it is up to me to become better at the track than, if you are too slow and on the racing line, you are going to have problems. Are you in adaptive ai, or set ai mode? I would suggest using set ai and slow them down a few clicks until you get the hang of the car you are using.
It's all about practice, being on the racing line and up to speed. I don't get hit by the AI at any of the tracks except the Nordscheife. I get hit there a lot! It's because I don't know it well enough. I take the wrong lines and brake too early or unexpectedly (especially when I mis-remember the corner I'm coming up to - there are 73 of them and many look the same!!).
