Alright so with the last build Monza has been updated; specifically in the very exploited Ascari section. Sadly those boundaries turn out to be too harsh/not legit at all. Now, depending on the angle/speed you come out after the first left turn, you may or may not get a cut penalty. ^ This one here is fine: no penalty... (you can even ride on the curb with two wheels: no problem at all) ^ ...but as soon as you touch this part of the right curb you get the penalty (despite all four wheels are on track) And here is a series of examples of the Ascari bug The slowdown happens the exact moment I touch the striped curb (not after, when I'm on it) oh... and the cone... is still there...
I have experienced the same issue. But I did not touch any curbs any lines through turns 8, 9 complex at Monza. I have both raceroom video AND personal recording showing the same. Glad the Ascari bug has been reported... thought it was my bad driving first of! After playing through a few replays soon realised it was a bug... been playing at Monza a lot just recently and very frustrating when you've done a good lap up to this point of the circuit. Not long had this game....but really enjoying it!
I found one at Redbull Ring between turns 5 and 6. Maybe more toward 6? <<<<< see Are those camera positions? Or just a Random cone in mid air? Anyone have a shotgun? It's flying cone season soon.
Cones floating in the sky are at the 0, 0, 0 track coordinates... Sort of visual reference for when starting to work on tracks (if I remember well?) ... Or most likely it's an Illuminati con(e)spiracy

You mean you don't have a tinfoil hat??!! I just witnessed this bug while in MP too. Good to know it isn't my iffy driving style! xD
lol I had never noticed the cones in mid-air before. Actually, I saw something @ Redbull ring, but I didn't know what it was. Just thought it was some type of location for the camera views.
Traffic cones turning up in strange places and not knowing how they got there? Reminds me of my student days.
There's another similar to this at Laguna Seca, I was five laps into a race, got alongside the leader on the start-finish, touched a wheel over the white line and got a warning, drive-through and instant DQ within a second.
I reported this one a while ago, it's been like this since the cutting through pit exit incident was fixed by making this area a no-go zone. But instant dq? Haven't had that yet...
