It was indeed a great 1st battle at Bathurst! I had a good start in the race but offcourse at the 1st corner i was hit so i became last. I've tried to come back and at first it seemed to come around till i got hit again. From then on it become more some luck being involved by people getting out of the race, as known many people give up verry quickly wich gives others a place ahead (lol). The race went on but due to miss calculation in fuel i had to pit in twice to stay in the battle (next time we'll remember that lol), near the end we were left over with 6 competitors and luck came along again for me. I was running at 6th place when number 5 fell out due to empty tank... It placed me 5th!
It was a good race and i want to thank all participants for driving this event. I hope it was good fun for you and if it was, you're welcome next month in round 2!

My Qualy was pretty okay. Third place on the grid.
Race: This was something different. After the end of Qualy, Porsche suddenly showed me on the start grid. How this came to me is a riddle. I was there with only 20 liters of gasoline in my tank. Did not even have the option to load my setup myself. At the start of the race with totally wrong setup. Did not even get the first round. Back on the hill in the dive some on the brake and the trenches in. Was not driving too much. Then, immediately, the result.
Hope this will not happen again in the future.
Result: Good Qualy , Race for soap.

 

If you're looking for a highlights reel or anything toward the end before I passed Sven I was on a mad one pushing like crazy

 

I made a quick video from the first lap from John's and mine perspective where we took off completely (especially me). Sadly that launch costed me the race because of a damaged engine.

My perspective is the top right.
