    Hi all,

I'm trying to work out what's the best way / method to do any decent AntiAliasing (for nVidia GPU - RTX 2080Ti in my case) in 2023! Something is a bit broken with in games AA as...

    1) In game MSAA simply doesn't seem effective at all even at 8x running at 4K res.

    2) If I disable in-game MSAA I weirdly lose the static shadows (fake ambient occlusion) that's underneath all cars.

As a temporary measure I'm running 3 software-based AA's all together - FXAA & SMAA & Quincunx (latter via nVidia driver tweak). Most will be horrified by that AA setup but I play at 137cm from a 65" screen so I need lots of AA!

I understand that if not using Reshade then setting nVidia driver's AA compatibility to Diablo works somehow but I've also read that when using Reshade (as I definitely am) you have to do something different, but I don't what!

So could anyone shed any light on what's best to do please? Thanks :)

It's just a compatibility flag to ensure driver level AA adjustments work with a particular game or game engine when configured outside of a game itself. I presume this manual setup is required as games and drivers constantly evolve so getting a working config is left down to the end user. This is why I do non-simracing gaming on my PS5 as my days of working all this crap out doesn't interest me anymore! :D
