    Yesterday, I switched from Win7Pro to Win10Pro.
It took several tries until I figured out that I probably needed to unplug my wheel/pedals/shifter/button box. After that Win10 finally installed.
But today I noticed my IgnitionControls button box did not work any more, not in R3E, not in AC and not in pCars.
Tried to change from USB3 to USB2 (and back) but that did not help. The system gives a sound when unplugging and replugging, the internal leds in the box work, but none of the buttons are doing what they are supposed to do (not the one way switches, not the two way, not the rotary dials and neither the joystick). Re-assigning was impossible too.
Tried the box on notapad: no entries at all !?

Any ideas what I can do, or what causes this ?
Solutions, workarounds ? All welcome.

Have you checked the device manager, how the Button Box is recognized? Do you need a special Driver for the Box?

Yep, it is recognized as a HID keyboard (USB connected) - Windows calls it 'New Config'
When I unplug it, the symbol disappears and vice versa.
It worked out of the box before, no idea if it needs special drivers (I asked the manufacturer, but still waiting for an answer).

I found these (but I have no clue )

I think I found the issue.
Win 10 seems to have cleared the configuration of the box completely.
The manufacturer included Arcaze config software at the time of purchase to make changes if needed, but I never used it, only to make a backup of the file (as I remember now). But this tool is also completely empty...no sign of my backup
II guess I need a new config file.
    Thanks Win 10 !

hm, sounds not to good. Is there a chance to get that Config-File back? Or can you recreate it with the tool?

I could have recreated it if the backup had been present. But that is sadly also gone.
I guess I can get the config file back from IgnitionControls and put it back using the Arcaze sofware.
That is if I manage that, since I'm not to good in computer stuff...
    But thanks for thinking along.

Update: it works again ... Pfffeww....
I found a mail containing my original config file and (with some instructions from IgnitionControls) I was able to place it back in the BB.
It seems to have happened before: Win10 screwing up certain files...
    Anyway, I'm happy now...:D
