I have a question about the physics.

I use the Lock to horison workaround with this values set in cockpit driver view: <orientationSpeed type="Vector">{30.00000000 50.00000000 40.00000000}</orientationSpeed>

And I wonder why I don't get any roll / sway in the cockpit when turning?
Like when I drive two wheels on the curbs the car tilts a bit.
But when turning without going up on a cerb I only get some side to side movement (the side vision gets altered a bit).

I understand that these are race cars with stiff suspensions and they should not sway mutch, but I can see som swaying in the replay as in this screen.
Just not in the cockpit when driving?..

Is there some other values that should be altered in this file for that?
I think the notion of G forces when driving adds a lot to the immersion!

because as a human you will naturally straighten your head.

Even so the car still moves around you, and you can see a small sway / roll of the car in your periphery.
Also add high speed corners with a big helmet on your head, I think you would have a hard time to keep your head leveled with the car.

    Anyway, thats not the point.
Cause this is the way I prefer it either way!
And because I don't have money or room for a motion rig, I want to get those G forces translated the only way I can.
    Through visuals cues.
Makes it way more immersive imo.

You can disregard my first post devs, I found the issue!
I had set the roll value to be too insensitive.. .:D
Changing it to 10.00000000 made it visible! :)

Yes you can roll the car in any setting. :)
I meant the roll of the car chassi when turning.

R3E is set to lock the camera to the car by default so that the environment is the only thing moving.
But this can be changed in the camera files of the cars.

With the lock to horizon the car is moving instead, a comparison from AC:

With the settings I use in R3E makes a mix between these two.
The horizon still moves but the car moves as well and acts like a damper, smoothening the camera movement.

It works great in Raceroom... I just use the cockpit movement adjustment..if cockpit movement is at zero, the horizon goes mental... (try zolder) Now I set it to about 40 and it's great, a little bit of both (my TV prefers this setting too)

Where are all these crazy numbers you are editing...

StamLibrary/steamapps/common/race room racing experience/Game/GameData/Cars/"the car you want to change view for"/Cameras/cockpit_driver_view
    (open this file with notepad)
    Then look for:
    <orientationSpeed type="Vector">{0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000}</orientationSpeed>

    And change that to:
    <orientationSpeed type="Vector">{10.00000000 60.00000000 10.00000000}</orientationSpeed>
(or what you prefer after testing)

Have to be done for all cars though.. . (or the ones you use that is).
