Which files to save and how to proceed to restore the settings when you reinstall Windows? If I replace the SimBin folder in the Documents folder, RRRE creates a new folder.
I had the same issue after changing the path of the game. Every time i started the game it created a new profile folder under C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\SimBin (e.g. C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience 2). When this directory is created there is a file called "GameInstallDir.ini" in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience 2. - Open the file with notepad and copy the content of the file to the original location of your pfofile (e.g. C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\GameInstallDir.ini) - Remove the Folder "RaceRoom Racing Experience 2" - Start the game Now you should have your old profile and settings loaded.
