Hello guys can someone help me ? my game goes to crash and do not understand why , ( I attach files of the crash ) I thank you in advance
Hey bud, posting some info may help, i.e. track, car, session type may help a little, on\offline, system specs, in the game or just loading? That kind of thing. Hey Christian or whoever, maybe an idea to have a sticky with a template to follow for posting crash reports, a CRASH REPORT TEMPLATE like system settings, session info, user locale and the like, may not help the tech guys that have access and can read the logs, but might just help others who maybe able to chime in with their own experience under simillar conditions or sys specs or encountered the same probs and how they fixed them or didnt. Just a thought.
* My operating system is Windows 10 Pro 64 -bit version 1607, Nvidia GTX 750 , Intel ( R ) Core ( TM ) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00 GHz , 8 GB RAM
You mentioned in the other thread that it started crashing after upgrading to Win10, right? Have you tried this already: https://forum.sector3studios.com/in...ed-exception-code-0xc00000fd.5922/#post-83805 Yea, also thought about having a 'known issues and possible fixes' collection... But I can't afford the time to put sth like this together atm.
I understand what is not working in the game is the " RRELauncherInstall " ( Not installed ) that does not work , you could tell me what to do ...... thanks !
Hello there, Just had a look at your crash dumps and it appears that you're experiencing a crash caused by bad compatibility settings in Windows. We currently have two potential solutions for this issue, and we'll start with the easier and safer option: Please try the following: Go to the game's installation folder. By default it should be the following: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game Find the RRRE.exe file Right-Click on it In the menu that appears, click on "Troubleshoot compatibility" A new window with a progress bar appears. When it is finished, click "Try recommended settings" Click the "Test program" button If the game works, click the "Next" button On the final page, click "Save these settings for the program" and close the window once the changes are saved.
Alright, this is another potential solution. Go to the Steam installation folder (Default is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) Find the file Steam.exe Right-click on Steam.exe In the menu that appears, select "Properties" In the window that appears, click the compatibility tab If the checkbox next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" is checked, click it to remove the check. If the checkbox next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" isn't checked, then run the same compatibility tool you used for the RRRE.exe file previously. Try running the game
Ah, did you try restarting Steam after performing this procedure? I forgot to add that step in there. You need to exit Steam properly, not just minimize it.
Alright. We'd like you to have a look in the registry. Changing things in the registry can be quite dangerous for your computer if you don't know what you're doing, so please, do not do anything outside of the steps in these instructions: 1. Hit start->run->regedit 2. Go to key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers 3. Look for a entry with your path to steam.exe 4. If you dont find it there try HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers Let us know if you find any such entry.
I'm sorry but I could not find any of the two routes, however, I had to re-install the Steam platform because all programs were not working more after the compatibility mode , now work all over again except RaceRoom Racing Experience ***** N.B. anyway my operating system : Windows 10 PRO 64 Bit version 1607 ( KB3176929 )
Jerry can we have a TeamViewer session so we can try and spot the problem? If you don't have it you can get Teamviewer here for free. https://www.teamviewer.com/ If you're ok with us accessing your PC via Team Viewer, Please PM me your TeamViewer details and when you are available.
ok, I send you now ID and password in private if you're ready I'm ready whenever you want I open the connection
Issue resolved. The problem was related to the path of the graphics card drivers which was deep in some place due to the 3rd party "Simple Driver Installer". Manual installation of the latest Nvidia driver fixed the issue. Just mentioning it here in case others have similar issues at launch.
