Is anyone using Crew Chief voice commands with Raceroom, and how is the experience? Thinking I might be able to save some performance using voice commands to check tyres/fuel and turning off otterhud...
I used the voice command for quiet a while and I really liked it. Turning off the complete hud and having to ask which position you have, who is in front or behind you, what the gaps are. That was really immersive and cool I'm playing with a headset with an integrated mic. That worked really well.
It sounds great, and it almost sounds like you anticipated my actual predicament: whether or not to buy a headset with a mic! I think if these voice commands are well utilised by raceroom I can justify it. Thanks for your response
Glad to hear that, mate! But maybe you want to try it first how good it works for you. A friend of mine has an accent and the voice commands don't work too well for him. So the results may vary. To try it first, just use some headphones from your phone. Normally they have an integrated mic.
