I apologize if this has been reported before but i cant find a report of this exact bug. what happens is i open the dedi tool and the console window pops up but then closes immediately. I am running as admin, my browser is chrome (but it doesn't get opened), i have tried on two computers one with the ports open and one without, both worked just after you released the initial patch but I haven't tried since, i did a reinstall of the tool, I have tried opening http://localhost:8088/ and used --nogui as well. thanks for your time
I remember getting that on a win7 fresh install. I gave up and install 8.1 never looked back since. remember to try those. Load up hidden user profile administrator in windows ( google it ) load steam as admin. Go to dedi***.exe folder right click and load as admin And of course make sure Chrome is setup as the default browser.
