    Hello racers and Server jockeys,

I just installed R3E's Ded Server tool and followed the nice DS How-To. I've "registered" with an admin password, created a Server, but I don't get the FrontEnd main page (all interactive screens from the DS are displayed in IE11 on local machine address 'http://localhost:8088/'

    Click on “CREATE NEW SERVER”.

    - A popup window will ask you to name the server. Type in a name for your server and click OK.

    - You should now see the main page of the frontend where you set your server settings and start running it.

I've opened port 8088 and port range 60000-60011 (all for both TCP & UDP) and set port triggering 8088->8088 and 60000-60011 -> 60000-60011. I have also verified that R3E DS is set to Allow for Private and to Public network types in the Firewall (I've got Windows 8.1 Pro x64). Further, I don' get any Windows Firewall prompts, so I think the firewall is set properly. I get the same "hang" even with router set to "DMZ: Enabled" (which should allow the DS unfettered access through any port (with any TCP or UDP protocol) that the DS may need).

    Suggestions please?

    Heyho!
u can try to start Steam as admin or try another browser. really don't know if this helps.
and i think u don't need the 8088 portforwarding or triggering. correct me if i'm wrong!
    good luck

Th4ifi and kaanjin - Thanks for your suggested replies.

    SOLVED !!

This question / problem is now resolved by rebooting my router. Apparently the reboot enforced opening the ports I had assigned for the Dedicated Server. IE10 browsed works just fine (and it automatically displays the R2E graphical interface on http://localhost:8088).

This R3E Ded Server graphical interface and ability to select cars and track rotation is very cool (much easier to quickly make these settings than Ded Servers for other racing games - i.e., Assetto Corsa). Thank youSector3!
