Is your windows user the main admin one. Are you using windows 7 by any chance? Cause I had something similar in windows 7 at some point. No issue when I moved the servers to windows 8.1 and 10
Hmm .. Very odd windows 8.1 gave me zero problems with this. Did you try with the hidden admin account in windows 8.1 ? Give this a try. Just press the Windows key to open the metro interface and then type command prompt in the search box. Next, right-click on command prompt and Run it as administrator. Copy this code net user administrator /active:yes and paste it in the command prompt. Then, press Enter to enable your built-in administrator account. **then logout of your current user and should show another user "administrator" try from there.
neither worked. I ran dedicated servers on teamspeak, rfactor and corsa. no problem. some reason I cant get this to work. hmmmm
Have you tried manually entering http://localhost:8088/ in the browser, after running the tool? What does it return? Can you please check the output.log for any detailed errors. You can find the log for dedi in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Sector3_Studios_AB\logs Without looking at the logs the general guess would be a) port 8088 is busy / used by another process b) admin priveleges required
Well yall told me to check the log file. And there might have been another program using the 8088. And when I put that in the address bar overwolf popped up so. I open that program and disabled it from starting up when I turned on pc. And then it worked
