    hello racers,

I've experienced uncomfortable wheel shake with both my G27 and AccuForce when I hit the curb.
Of course, I set "Kerb Vibrations" to 0% in the option settings, but huge wheel shake is still there.
And I've tweaked my controller *.rcs file as follows but no luck.

    FFB rumble strip magnitude="0.0"
    FFB rumble strip freq mult="0.1"
    FFB rumble strip wave type="0"
    FFB rumble strip pull factor="0.1"
I think that the wheel shake effect is too strong and it seems that my wheel is getting some damage from that effect.

Is there any way to reduce wheel shake effect?

    thanks,

There are two different kind of curbs.

The flat ones, which are also referred to as rumble strips.
The Kerb Vibrations setting only affects those.

Then there are the 3d modelled curbs, which is the majority in the game.
The Kerb Vibrations setting won't change the way these feel, because it's actual physics giving you feedback as you drive over them.

If you want to reduce the shaking i would suggest:
    1. Increase the ffb smoothing.
This will get rid of huge spikes in the ffb, that are typically experienced driving over curbs.

    2. Decrease the vertical load setting.
This will reduce forces coming from bumps and curbs.

    Thanks for your reply, Georg.

    1.
I have to set ffb smoothing from 0% to 20% to reduce wheel shake.
20% smoothing gives me a very noticeable input lag so I've set it 5%.

    2.
Bingo! I've changed it from 75% to 20%. My wheel is still shaking but it's at acceptable level.

However, I think I lost half of FFB that is coming from weight shift...
I will try to find best balance
