I looked for the answer for this and couldn't find it. How many laps do you need to run in a race to have the forced pitstop? I am running in DTM13 right now and don't see the option. I've tried running 6 and 11 laps and don't see the option.

    No pitstops in DTM 2013.

In DTM 2013 are no pitstops, they are only in DTM 2014 and RaceRoom (it is not important how many laps the race has, you have always the option for pitstops). But you can have pitstops with if you play RaceRoom with the DTM 2013 cars ;)

That same thing confused me as well. Turns out this is only in DTM2014 not 2013 :( I had bought 2013 initially. but then had to buy 2014 because of this exact feature.

On a positive side 2014 acts exactly as in sporting regulations: pit window opens in 2nd 1/3 of the race and closes before the last 1/3. Make sure to calculate so that you don't run option tires for more than half a race.

Thanks so much for the responses. I wanted to do a 2013 season before delving into 2014 so this will work out well.

Just a quastion about DTM 2014, when you go to single player practice session. Why do I have to have AI then? Why can't I just chose 0 AI?...

That's something I don't understand, too. Would be nice if we could set the number to 0.
