    INCIDENTS SHOOTOUT 1 - Heat 1
    • Lap 1 - Mariusz Zabdyr, Adam Pinczes
Verdict: Pinczes causing a collision which disadvantages a competitor
      Penalty: Pinczes, 1 strike + 5 seconds
As a result, Sebastian Reeh is allowed to participate in Shootout 2 - Heat 3

    INCIDENTS SHOOTOUT 1 - Heat 2

    • Lap 1 - Isaac Gillisen, Leonard Krippner
Description: Isaac Gillissen manages to get ahead of Leonard Krippner on the start, then Isaac begins to close the inside line for Turn 1 once he is fully ahead. Krippner suddenly turns to the right across the front of Jonathan Riley's car, pushing him off track with damage.
Verdict: Krippner causing a collision which disadvantages a competitor.
      Penalty: Krippner, 1 strike + 5 seconds
    • Lap 1 - Yuval Rosen, Jonathen Riley
Description: Rosen turns into T2 and leaves no space on the inside. Riley is on the inside all the time with significant overlap. The contact unsettles Rosens car and Riley moves ahead. None of the drivers finally gets a disadvantage.
      Verdict: no further action
    • Lap 1 - Collin Blankenburg, Turkka Häkkinen
Description: Häkkinenen hits Blankenburg in the rear in the middle of T2 and unsettles Blankenburg so he loses a bit of momentum.
Verdict: Häkkinen could have avoided the contact and should act more careful in the future.
      Penalty: Häkkinen, warning
    • Lap 14 - Patrick Tiefenbacher, Thomas Gontier
Description: Tiefenbacher has >2 car lengths gap to the opponent ahead and dives into the last turn. On the corner entry, Tiefenbacher hits Gontier hard into the side who as a consequence misses the apex of the turn. Tiefenbacher gains the position for the crucial 22nd rank (to proceed to heat 3).
Verdict: Very careless driving and overambitious overtake by Tiefenbacher, causing a collision which disadvantages competitor.
Penalty: Tiefenbacher: 2 Strikes, +10 seconds

    INCIDENTS SHOOTOUT 1 - Heat 3

    • Lap 1 - Colin Blankenberg, Christian Michel
Description: Michel hits Blankenburg hard into T2 and unsettles Blankenburg. Michel gains the position.
Verdict: Michel causing a collision which disadvantages a competitor.
Penalty: Michel: 1 Strike, +5 seconds
    • Lap 1 - Matthias Baldauf, Attila Bucsi, Turkka Häkkinen, Ilia Drovosekov, Mihai Neg
      Description:
Häkkinen and Bucsi both entering T1/T2 side by side fighting for position. Bucsi gains space on the outside to be fully along-side of Häkkinen entering T2. Häkkinen does not leave enough space and both contact on the curb. In the following, both take too much speed into T2 and can't avoid the contact with Drovosekov ahead of them. While Häkkinen tries to brake, Bucsi is a bit too careless and causes the final and decisive hit on Drovosekov. Drovosekov gains too much momentum and can't avoid the hit on Baldauf ahead who spins into the gravel and loses several positions.
In the following, Drovosekov heads for the corner inside. Häkkinen got hit by Neg himself and then can't avoid to hit Drovosekov again. Drovosekov's car get unsettled again and Häkkinen can pass him on the inside.

Verdict: Bucsi as the main culprit in this situation receives half a penalty for causing a collision which disadvantages a competitor. Stewards decided against a full penalty as there are multiple cars involved in a chain-reaction which was dificult to avoid for each of the drivers individually.
Häkkinen receives a warning for not leaving enough space against Bucsi entering T2 and also hitting Drovosekov twice. Again, these incidents are part of a chain reaction and thus Häkkinen can't be blamed alone.

Penalty: Bucsi: Half penalty, 0 strikes, +3 seconds
      Häkkinen: Warning
    • Lap 1 - Mihai Neg, Marc Veit, Luciano Witvoet
Description: Neg pushes Witvoet leaving T2, resulting in a wider line towards the corner exit of Witvoet. Neg tries to use the space to the left to overtake Witvoet and pushes Veit off the track. Veit loses 5 positions.
Verdict: Neg, first pushes an opponent to avoid to lose momentum and then doesn't leave enough space on the corner exit and forces the opponent off track with significant disadvantage.
Penalty: Neg: 1 Strike, +5 seconds

    INCIDENT REPORT - Shootout 2

The reported incident involved two drivers who - ultimately - both qualified for the main season.
There were plenty of unreported incidents that the Stewards have looked at. These reports could have changed the race results.

However, as the main season starts, all penalties and warnings are going to be reset. Race Control has chosen to ignore the unreported incidents and to not penalize the reported incident.

This means the Preliminary Shootout 2 results are the Final results.

All penalties and strikes are now reset.

Notes from Race Control and the Stewards:

UPDATED INCIDENTS FOR RACE 2 IN ROUND 4 AND 5
    Round 4: https://www.raceroom.com/wp-content...4-Race-Results-Round-4-Incidents-Race-2-1.pdf
    Round 5: https://www.raceroom.com/wp-content...4-Race-Results-Round-5-Incidents-Race-2-2.pdf

After yesterday's discussion about the pit lane entry and exit violations, we took another look at the steward decisions. In this case we came to the conclusion that we did not act consistently and the penalties were not given fairly and equally to all. We have therefore decided to revoke all penalties that have been issued to date. This has no effect on the Top 5, but there will be a few minor shifts in the rest of the field. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to you. We never wanted to favor or disadvantage drivers. We simply did not execute our own rulebook perfectly. BUT we will act differently for the upcoming final: The stewards will check all pit stops and penalize all pit lane entry and exit lane violations.
We wish you good luck for the final
