The DTM default setups at Monza need slightly longer gearing. Going past the pit exit they bounce off the limiter causing engine damage (pretty cool). For me I can fix but the AI cant adjust their setups. Dan
Mind sharing which DTM cars you were using? We have 4 separate classes all with different gear ratios I would imagine the DTM 15 cars though... As I recall, these were designed for the tracks in the experience, so the default gearing is based on real world data for those tracks. Obviously they dont run on Monza, so certain tracks like this are outliers. Especially since Monza is a top speed track. Will check this out and pass it along if there is an issue here though.
