end of game freeze

Wondering how many people would care about this, but when the race ends, the second you drive over the finish line, the screen just freezes, for about one second.

First time I saw that, I was 100% certain my computer just crashed. Now I know it doesn;t, but it still looks rather ... weird. I can be done in a more elegant manner, no ?

 

Well, if i run more cars (like 60) this freeze can take up to 20 sec but usually its few seconds. It also freezes (but way shorter) when i enter instant replay.

 

Yep, talk about killing the immersion when you cross the finish line.

 

My Misses bringing me a cup of tea kills the immersion for me.

 

Yup, first time i tried the Nordschleife Tourist layout, i almost had a heart attack when i drove on the back straight totally immersed, and the screen froze with a bang all of a sudden.

 

it freezes because it saves the replay. I am not sure but I think you can disable replays.
