What does it mean when engine is blinking yellow? I use auto transmission, and default car setup. Starts happening after 15 mins of driving. ADAC-2015: CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06.R GT3 GTM15
I've heard there's an overheating problem with Corvette since one of the last updates. Devs are aware of that.
I didn't have oil temp. hud indicator enabled. What is the difference between engine blinking yellow and steady yellow?
I was told on Discord that the overheating problem was fixed, so this must be something else. Could it have something to do with driving a lot in 2nd gear with high RPMs? Anyway I recorded it: Automatic transmission, get real setting. Suzuki east. Default car setup. Engine starts flashing yellow at 6:08 minutes. ADAC 2015 - CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 R GT3 GTM15
I can't reproduce. Also can't see any engine temperatures in the video and I really abused the car. Maybe delete the car from the Gamedate and re-download.

Deleted and validated. Tried again, this time with oil temperature on screen. This time it took longer for the symbol to appear, but at 10:20 in video it starts. I think it drove more in 3rd gear this time at lower RPM, might be the reason for taking longer? PS. I also was out of tracklimits shortly, not sure if that changes anything.
I see a major difference in both your driving through the esses mostly. While @Peter Koch is going through the esses in 3rd gear at moderate revs, @Leto Turdania is going not only slower (less cooling) but also mostly in 2nd gear at very high revs (more heat). I don't know if the engine is supposed to overheat from Letos driving style, but I'm quite sure that this difference is the reason for the engine overheating for him and not for Peter. Maybe this is one for @Alex Hodgkinson.
Looks like it could do with a slightly bigger radiator. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, leave it with me! For now, it's best you keep the revs down a touch and switch to lower engine maps when the temperatures start to creep up.
