I'm getting this same "Error 102" message right now. I was in a test session and tried to get back to the main menu, but got 102 instead. Now, on every attempted start of the sim, I just see the smoking car and "Error 102". Any ideas? Do I just have to wait for the Sector3 servers to awake? I guess I'll go drive in Stock Car Extreme for a bit... Edit: And...it's back. It was unavailable for ~30mins, I think. I assume there's nothing to be done in these situations, except to wait? It would be so nice if we had an always available, offline, single player mode. On a positive note, I'm really impressed with the latest update. I'm getting much better performance and was able to reenable higher shadow, reflection, and particle settings and still get a driveable 60 fps (with v-sync). Yay!
