I've had this issue since the much appreciated free GT3 skinpack drop where I get an error loading one of the new skins. I select GT3 (of course!) then proceed to select my drive - in this case its the No.3 Jade Engineering Chevrolet Camaro GT3 - select my track, set the race options and Go Race... The game begins to load and then - kicks back to the selection screen with a "red band" error across the top of the screen saying "Content loading error: failed to load car" I've tried several times to load it, just in case it was a connection error - but always get the same result. So far (not that I've tried too many) other cars load without any problems... Any ideas? Cheers, Chris
You can try verifying game cache for r3e in steam. Maybe a file is corrupt or missing in your installation.
Thanks for the suggestion......I verified the game cache - and Raceroom did say that 2 files were errored, however the No.3 Jade Engineering Chevrolet Camaro GT3 still will not load and comes up with the forementioned error. Anyone else able to tell me if they have the same issue? Cheers, Chris
@Sdemonnz can you please attach your log files after reproducing this? - Start the game - Attempt to load that car - Get the error and close the game - Browse to My Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\Log\ - Get the last modified files from that folder (look at timestamp to get the ones you just created) and attach them here Then we can see what's going on in your game.
