To me, a big part of motorsport is seeing different brands and models competing in the same class. Sector3 seem to really appreciate this. Big thanks from me.
yeah i think expanding ai opponents would be awsome! say 30-35? also how good would it be to get the rights the the Blancpain endurance series. blancpain endurance experience. with spa 24 hour...i can dream
Well all of the track licences are secured (Monza, Silverstone, Paul Ricard, Spa, Nurburgring), would be a shame not to have the car set to match!
exactly my thought, there is still option of having 24 cars or lower... hell I can run pcars at 55 easy..
Watching the background video in r3e today, I saw a Z4 with the Marc VDS/ Blancpain livery. Though it's my first post, I read the forums since I started playing R3E in November '14, but cant remember that the Blancpain were announced? Hopefully I wasnt just dreaming....
i think in RL some cars are participating in both series (ADAC and Blancpain), thats why you can see some Blancpain liveries as well
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think in opposite to the ADAC and DTM-Experience, the background video in the free to play R3E is ingame footage only. For some kind of reason I can't take screenshots in the r3e menu.
There is a screen of the 2013 VDS BES livery in that video, there's also the HTP car from last year in the header of the main Sector 3 website and a shot of the 2013 ART GP McLaren. There's also been a British GT Nissan and the background menu video also has a shot of an APR Audi GT3 based upon the 2013 Grand-Am / Daytona 24 car. All of the above haven't been released. I was very hopeful for a Blancpain pack at some point, but I wonder if the iRacing tie up with SRO (or many other possible reasons!) will prevent that?
The new Audi R8 LMS isn't really a 2015-Car. At the moment it is more a public test for 2016. But yeah - I'm hoping for that and the other new 2016 GT3-Cars too. But there will be a lot to do on licensing and dev-side, as there are quite a few new cars next and already this year: Audi R8 LMS McLaren 650s GT3 Mercedes AMG GT3 BMW M6 GT3 Callaway Corvette C7 (Porsche 991 GT3 RS) (Lamborghini Huracan)
There must be a way of getting a RUF GT3 into the game. The absence of Porsche leaves such a gaping hole in the ADAC GT Masters grid. I really enjoy the GTR2 RUF. With all those real life liveries it passes for a Porsche quite convincingly.
EA are notoriously not friendly in licensing/imitating issues.So already having 2 rufs resembling porsche cars in all aspects is probably the most Sector 3 can hope.Putting a third car in may be seen to much in EA eyes and will cause legal issues and legthly lawyers battles.
Having Ruf's in the game don't affect the EA / Porsche license, Ruf is a brand of it's own. But having it in ADAC GT M would be hard I think, thats a licensed series. So I don't think they are allowed to add cars that wasn't driving in that series. But putting a Ruf in the GTR 3 class shouldn't be a problem?
