    Hey all!

    I've been seeing more and more people reporting their crashes here in the Community Support section of our forum. Some make their own threads, some jump onto one of the pre-existing ones, some include crash dumps and some don't.

    In order to make this a teeny bit more organized and easier to follow this thread is going to contain some guidelines about what to do and what to keep in mind when experiencing a crash.

    Things to try on your own
    Making sure that Steam has downloaded and installed all files correctly:
    • Go to the Library tab in Steam
    • Right-click on RaceRoom Racing Experience in the game list
    • In the drop-down menu that appears, click "Properties" menu item
    • In the window that appears, go to the "Local Files" tab
    • Click the "Verify integrity of Game Cache"
    Steam will now check for any missing/corrupted files and re-download any files with issues.

    If you made any changes to your system (either software or hardware) just before the crash occurring, please try to revert to the previous state if possible.

    Contacting us
    When contacting us for help with a crash it is important to remember the following:
    • Describe what you were doing when the crash occurred
    • Mention whether the game has worked for you previously
    • Mention any changes you've made to your system recently
    • List your hardware specifications
    • Include the crash dump file from the crash, if one exists
      • These files are created here: Documents\My Games\SimBin\Crash Dumps
