Hi everyone, I'm new here and have only just downloaded the raceroom. Every time I try to load up the game it is just a black screen then crashes and says 'fatal error, invalid web browser texture. Try running with -cefNoBlacklist'.... and it goes on. I click OK then it shows me where to locate the crash report. What should I do to be able to load up the game! Thanks!
Hello, We are very sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the game. It looks like your video card is not compatible with the hardware acceleration we're using in our menus. There is an easy workaround for this which will let you start the game. · Right Click on the game in the steam library. · Click "Properties." · Click "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..." · Enter -cefNoGPU -cefNoBlacklist in the text field. · Click Ok. · Start the game. This disables the hardware acceleration, and should let you play the game.
Thats a fast response @Hannes Wallstedt ^^ I have a little question regarding to the Launch Options. What does the Option -cefNoBlacklist exactly means? What happen or not happen in RaceRoom when this option is set?
Good to hear! Chromium, which is used for the in-game browser, has a list of certain hardware that it blocks by default. This is typically old hardware that the developers know that Chromium would have issues with. So, adding the -cefNoBlacklist launch argument makes chromium ignore that list in the case that your hardware is on the list.
it always happens when I try enter in Nordschlife circuit, and pretty often when I'm simply driving in various servers..the game just suddenly blocks and the Dump crash box emerges, I have to restart all over and even sometimes miss a race...
I have the same problem, was working fine yesterday and today error C00000005 tried with Launch option -cefNoGPU -cefNoBlacklist no luck. Any advise please?
Never had problems, nothing has changed. AMD Radeon R7 360Series Intel Core i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70 Ghz just updated Win. 10.
Got it working again AC had a similar problem no video mod, went back on the graphic card driver (Radeon) and this fixed it.
