These just scream what a formula one car should sound and i missed these sounds they only echo in my head just one passing on eau rouge. It would be fun to see these and drive these in R3E. I like the ones we have right now. But to have more formula cars to the line up would even be better. Take a listen to what a formula one car should sound.
Sorry, but I don't like it at all!... I would rather see some TCR cars running round Oulton Park, Road Atlanta, Twin Ring Montegi... Or some (V8) Supercars round Adelaide or Townsville... I don't like single seater race cars... rubbin' is racing... but this is just my two cents of thinking...I love R3E WTCC race feeling or TT Cup Racing, so I hope this will be the way to go.... my dreamland (cars and tracks) would be something like TCR, Clio Cup, Mini Challenge, perhaps a MX5 Cup and so on.... Ok, perhaps this is a little bit OT to your post, but just my thoughts...
I understand that you don't like single seaters but for single seaters it would be fun to see them race around monza or or spa at least.
I agree with @Thomas Friedrich, if I want open wheel I'll buy F1 2016 - which I won't, but I hear it's pretty good. I think some racing games try to do too much, and should stick to what they excel at. My $.02.
Gonna mirror the grab F1 2016 for F1 racing, having the proper rules and cars not being single spec makes it a really fun time, even if it does sound crap compared to R3E's engine sounds. That said you can get a really nice V10 era experience in Automobilista and there's some mods that can make it pretty darn close to an actual Formula 1 experience, something that R3E would not be able to mirror today with it's locked down content.
I disagree with the tin top lovers, the more open wheelers the better, especially if they have a 3.0 litre v10
Im not an open wheeler fan but if i wanted to race some I'd go to automobilista, the r3e ones r too friendly imo. instead id like some super touring or some classic racers
