It appears that the in game FOV adjustment menu will only adjust the FOV for the cockpit camera, no combination of settings in the menu will adjust the FOV when in bonnet cam. If in bonnet cam the FOV is stuck at whatever setting it was on before the update, I managed to manually change the FOV for bonnet cam by going into the graphics.xml file and editing the FOV setting, becomes a bit tedious though as the game needs to be completely restarted after each edit which takes a looooong time.(I have just changed to triples and setting the up).
