Hey! I need your help! I created a dedicated server and was able to join (thx to the workaround)! But my friend is unable to join cause of "no response from server". He did the workaround himself, but it didnt solve the problem Any ideas? Thank you in advance Nick
If a client is unable to join from outside of your local network it is most likely caused by missing or failing port forwarding in your router. The workaround is only intended for clients inside the same local network as the dedi. Here's a tutorial on how to set up port forwarding for Raceroom: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/multiplayer-dedicated-how-to.687/ Pay special attention to the protocol type (TCP/UDP) for each port because it won't work if those are wrong.
