Hi there, This issue is hitting me for far too long now. I tryed it after every hotfix, but I still get this error. For some reason, my game launches (the small window) , but then crashes when you should go to the menu. It says: Game crashed (exeption code 0x0000005). I will also attach my crash dump.
And I also want to add, that I tried everything I could find. Nothin seems to work, not even -cefNoGPU works. It all happened after a particular update. I got it working once, but then it started crashing again.
Please provide information on your PC. What CPU, GPU, RAM, Harddrive and OS (32 or 64bit) do you use? What peripherals do you have attached to your PC?
Check if you have a d3d9.dll in this folder: (d3dx9_43.dll is good though, you need that one!) Steam\steamapps\common\raceroom racing experience\Game Delete it and try starting the game after that.
CPU: Intel i7-4790 GPU: Nvidia 750 GTX (I never had problems with the GPU and this game) 8 Gigs of RAM 64 bit operation system

mismo problema, lo de archivo d3d9.dll no soluciona nada tengo el d3dx9_43.dll y no va alguna ayuda ??????
