Hi there! So i gave just the GTM 2014 Exp. a try and started a championship (30mins of race, pitstops on). I made my pit stop at 2nd position, and after the pitstop i was last. Is it possible that theres a bug? I think the AI Cars dont stand 60 Sec. Is it possible? Not cool.
The pit window is more open then a couple of minutes. On screen there will be messages when the pit is open en also when closed. The AI will occasionally be to late to stop but then there will be a penalty.
Yes they have to. I think they also get disqualified if they doesn't. At least there's a massage about that. Maybe you changed tires which means you have to pit 10s longer. Maybe you confirmed the pit stop to late so you lost time that way. Maybe give the race another try and see if that happens again I played GTM 2014 a lot and I never had problems with something like that.
OK, i will give it a second try. Just wanted to ask if theres a known problem. Pit Window was closed, when i was 18th. How are the rules? Thought every pit stop takes 60 Seks...with tyre change or without?
No, switching your tyres adds 10 seconds to your minimum pitstop time. They are only rotated from left to right and vice versa anyway, so better don't do it.
Set pitstop for "driver change only" and practice using the pit menu while you are coming down pit lane so you dont waste time. It's a bit fiddly. You should get your position back after the AI pits.
Everything fine with the races and pitstops, but why my setups will not be saved? I always start (between the races too) with the standard settings and have to change them. Never had this problem, just now in the "Expirience".
Your setups should save for each car and track combination. So, for example, if you race the GT Masters 2014 Audi around Spa and change the setup then the next time you load up the same GT Masters 2014 Audi at Spa it should have that setup on it. However, if you then load the same GT Masters 2014 Audi at Bathurst it would then have the default setup on it again, assuming you have not raced that car on that track before. Also, if you load the GT Masters 2013 Audi at Spa it would also have the default setup as it is technically a different car.
Absolutely clear, and well known for me. Thanks anyway. Since now it works very well with the setups. No problem. But since i started the championship in the Expirience, i recognised this fault. I raced yesterday race 3+4 in Zandvoort. But my setup together in practice, made my qual an race one...then left for picking up my son and if i started again for race 2 in the evening i was back to default seup. In race one in Oschersleben it was the same. Strange. Isnt it?
It's a common issue - got the same with DTM series (ADAC`s been a while). No matter if official or custom made. But your changes will be saved in singleplay mode (weird ). Best you write them down or sth. (and for now)
Nearly everything fine: I had just the race in the Lausitz at the Eurospeedway. The McLaren and some Audis where driving in the PitLimiter after a couple of Laps... WTF?
I had a similar issue last night. Used fr2 at slovakiaring. Led from pole, pitted from lead, came out in 6th, no mistakes, not held up by traffic but by the time the pits closed was 20 seconds behind leaders even though I was lapping faster. I have a suspicion that they did not pit at all.
So, no pit limiter limited Audis on the Slovakiaring. Maybe just a single issue? But WTF! I pressed after Qual 2 before race 1 the button "Advance to next...". Race gone. Race 2 starts. Fuck. Everytime i leave the track via ESC Button i be asked if i really want to go back to the garage. But if i skip the race is no question necessary? I mean come on. Insert a little question if i really want to skip the race. Originally i just wanted to go in my car setup.... :-( Championship over :-(
