It's not even been a rumour until that post from Patrick. No, neither track has been confirmed or even hinted in regard to R3E.
Spin. We know there is a stray Nissan R89 sitting around. With the Mercedes partnership it would not be out of question a C9 appearance. And Porsche has given a few 962s lately. So, Group C?
They should just include every endurance series and entry ever. There's no other way to satisfy everyone.
… just a thought and just a fact. Sebring and Le Mans are part of the WEC season in 2018, so it's sure that they will be drivable in the new GTR3 sim. I believe that SimBin UK and Sector 3 Studios are more business partner than we all know. If R3E get a licence for these both tracks, the conversion of a UE4 track model of SimBin UK to a UE4 track model of Sector 3 Studios shouldn't be a big deal for the R3E track developers …
Wonder if recent update to GT1 class and upcoming for GT2 is somewhat connected to GTR3. Also - Zhuhai seemed a bit random addition to RaceRoom. But it is used in Asian Le Mans Series...
I'm happy someone ruined Racedepartments news release. They turned from a simracing community to a €€ hungry company slave
@Paul Jeffrey you money grabbing filthy rich commercial slut!!1!1! And you even didn’t know it yourself! And where does that leaves Bram? Will he be reading this in his filthy large mansion with an exclusive car collection in his garage while sunbathing at his swimmingpool? And how that news is shredded! Torn to pieces. Nothing left of it. O wait... Will laugh my ass of when you are allowed to release more of your knowledge about GTR3’s development. But unfortunately it can’t be news if RD is the source. Apparently...
On the twitter announcement i read this : "This sports title is a multi-platform racing game recreating FIA World Endurance Championship...." And on the official Simbin website i read this : "Enter the world of a professional GT racing driver, across the world in Endurance racing championships." Anybody notice the difference ? Maybe this explains why the pic on twitter contains cars from multiple Endurance championships and not from THE WEC.
So in other words no WEC game, but just the handfull of GTE cars? Looking at their website or more specifically at their job offers, one could get the impression, that they so far only cosnist of management and still need people to actually work on stuff
I would say prototypes are more synonymous with WEC than GT cars are, going back through the history of the championship, and under the various former names. Though, that's just my opinion. I would say, more objectively, the biggest aspect of WEC is certainly the multi-class racing. It wouldnt be WEC if it only had GT cars.
That is what I had first in mind when reading the statement about GTR3 being a WEC game. But the announcement on the website only speaks of various GT classes. They could clearly use some better marketing
