    I just installed RaceRoom and my Wheel and Pedals are shown as devices and are detected. The wheel works but when I go to click on the functions part and try to assign the Pedals - they are not recognized for calibration. I know the pedals are working bc of DIView - they work in Windows. They also work in iRacing although I know that does not matter. The other interesting part is I don't have 2 separate buttons that show primary and secondary functions on the main page. I just have the one function button? I have searched up and down the forums for threads on how to fix but coming up empty.

    you want to add the axis or want to calibrate (in R3E)?
    if calibrated with DYView only adding the axis is needed.

    I do have it calibrated in DYView. What do I need to do for adding axis?

    double click in the controller menu ; on the pedal required, push the pedal and it should register ; repeat for the others

    look where the buttons are added in the game,there must be even some for throttle/brake/clutch.
    there you click in the field and press the pedal.
    then it shows some input device.
    thats it :)

    I have had 2 people look at this and no luck. One person remoted in and still could not figure it out. Under the "Detect Controllers" it is not showing up but does show up under the "Active Devices" section.

    Thanks. Clarify - I am wondering if the last SW update is causing the HE Pedals not be detected or if issue is on my end. Will keep trouble shooting.

    retry with a new controller config.
    i had to do this 2 or 3 times until all was running...
    deadzones configurated? if a false signal comes somewhere it is not working (or when 2 signals come)

    I’m running HPP’s which also have no driver and require diview. It’s never stopped working for me.

    If windows is seeing them and diview is showing the data when you push - then something about how your applying them in Raceroom must be the issue.

    Can you clear the axis Inputs in Raceroom and just assign a keyboard key?

    I have tried new controller configs but can try again. When you say deadzones - can you clarify?

    It does work in diview and is showing data when I push. I can assign a keyboard key to Gas, Brake, etc and it does work. I just can't get the HPP pedals to be part of the selection when I press on Gas or any other pedal.

    Oh man, that’s not easy to trouble shoot.

    I had a issue where I just went into the user press and hand edited the configure profile for one of my wheels.

    You might consider going to your doc directory and seeing what devices it thinks it sees in the config file. Duplicate before editing - I have 4 profiles I use for different wheels and all required. Deleting devices that were not present -

    I’d be willing to look at one if you send it as well.

    when you calibrate the pedals with DYView you set the lower value a little bit higher (25 or so) and the upper at a lower (same amount).
    so when you dont press the pedal there is no false signal comming and when press the pedal 100% there is always 100% of the signal in the game.

    Thanks for the reply. I am assuming though even if there was a false signal the pedals would show up and be able to be selected in the assignment section.

    Thanks! Is this what you are talking about? I cut and pasted the section for HE Pedals
    -<custom type="string">
    -<![CDATA[HE SIM PEDALS]]>
    </custom>
    <custom type="bool">true</custom>
    <custom type="bool">false</custom>
    </custom>
    <!-- Index:20 -->

    <key type="uint32">3004499023</key>

    -<custom>
    <custom type="uint32">3004499023</custom>

    Big thanks to Grant Patullo on ESR-Race site. Figured out that in the Game Controller settings in Windows I just needed to recalibrate the HE Pedals. They were working in DI View but once I recalibrated in the Game Controller section of Windows - they started working! Gonna take a while to get cars set up too my likings. I am so used to iRacing. Hopefully I will like it as well. The CUP car felt so slow compared to the iRacing CUP car. I am sure it is a different beast and needs to be set up properly.
