How did I get so many podiums? I have not done any Ranked races. I only have done single races like leaderboard, multiplayer & TA in "competitions" etc. How are these podium stats formulated?

AFAIK these stats are from your offline races against AI

AFAIK? What's this mean? I have only played AI one or two games. Just a lot of "single player" (leaderboard stuff). Chasing ghosts.

As wesker and Olaf said, it is related to your singleplayer races. But also I think something is broken because I just checked my stats there. I have:
    - CURRENT consecutive wins: 3
    - CURRENT consecutive podiums: 1
Not sure how can it be possible to have a win without podium...

Maybe there is no podium if less than three cars participate?

These stats are more or less broken. Just ignore them.

They are meant to be replaced with something that's actually working at some point in the future AFAIK, but just like with a lot of other stuff in RaceRoom, priorities, priorities, priorities...

For sure not that, I have 10-25 AI set always. But also, I don't pay attention on those stats there. :D

Lap times, maybe? Either just from memory ("hey, I remember being slower on this track") or in the leaderboards; also, AI difficulty you set for your races.

Besides pure speed - consistency and safety in races; confidence in your cars and understanding what's happening and how it's connected to your car's systems.

Maskerader, So I understand you, set AI at 80 with no cars and make laps.
Sounds like shooting fish in a barrow.

I mean if you regularly race against AI you will see how in order to get "fair" races you need to set the AI difficulty higher and higher, which would be an indicator of your increased experience/skill in this combination of track and car.

Other than that, I should say I treat simracing as a sandbox and a hobby. Find whatever you like the most and do it. Races against AI, races against people, hotlapping or just driving around, trying all the different cars and tracks or sticking to thoroughly learn a few of them.

It's not a job, so in the end the winner is not the one who was the fastest but the one who enjoyed his time the most.
