Not only do I want it off in races but replays too.

I've seen Youtube vids where it's just the race on screen and nothing.

I've tried every setting/key option in the game and nothing.

    Thanks.

Thank you. I'll have another look.

    Appreciate it.

Yeah... nope. Tried that. Go to replay and there is still a big banner across the top of the screen showing Position x/x, Driver Name in the middle, Lap x/x on the right. Nothing in the menus and nothing seems to turn it off.

    Try 8, 9 or 0.
can't remember which, but it should be one of them.
I always toggle this on / off between MP and SP.

In the controller options go to secondary functions, assign a key of your choice to the "Toggle Position Bar Settings" you should now be able to scroll through until it's off.Or use the key assigned to that option as default.

That was odd. The 'Car Status' worked, the 'Gear Indicator' worked, Ghost Car, Driving Line were fine but, for whatever reason, even though there were keys assigned, some of the other options didn't work which is part of why I could not seem to turn some items on/off or cycle.

I reassigned keys to the functions I was asking about and the ones mentioned above and now, I can turn on/off or cycle any of the items in car or in replay mode.

    Thanks everyone!

There's 2 assignment in the controls menu for the status bas.
There's the On/OFF toggle and a "type/layout" toggle. You can switch between 3 layouts, one of them will be "no layout".
