I know others have done this before but here's an update based on my latest counts and information.

If there are 25 liveries it means you should select 24 opponents (number of liveries minus 1) to have the whole field from that class in your race. If you select any more opponents than this some will appear more than once.

An asterisk (*) next to the class means these cars are running the "old" R3E physics (as at 19/10/16 based on a post from JF at Race Department which I noted at the time but can't find again).

I think my counts are pretty good with the possible exception of the GT series which messes with my head (especially GTR 3).

    Hope it's useful - corrections welcome. :)

All GT Masters and GTR3 cars are running same physics, except I think BMW M6, which has newer iteration. Same with modern DTMs.

And BMW M1 Procar was actually one of first cars that was updated to "non-crap" physics (post DTM 2015)*.
I was actually thinking about doing chart with physics version for all cars, which would be useful for new players, so they won't buy old stuff and then complain about how bad car handles.

*Well, 2014 wasn't that bad, but there were some weird things to it, like this universally good setup for all cars.

As for a number of liveries - numbers in store show amount of available liveries to buy, but actual number of them is higher for some cars. Some had to be removed from store - for example Audi GTO had 4 skins, but there were some thing related to licensing or something. And some where only obtainable for participating in competitions (KW ones for couple of GT3 cars or Thrustmasters for BMW M3 GTR)
