you can't change it, no real tyre management included atm (except DTM i think...but have to check that out...)
Only DTM has the choice between option and prime. There isn't a real tire management in R3E. Tires are temperature sensitive though.
@Drei yes i mean DTM experience 2014 @Rik Fast yes but Prime are slower than Option. Since the last update some drivers Start with Option and some with Prime tires. So how can i influence my Starting tyre? I think its absloutly Random at the moment. Nowhere is an Option to change it.
At the start of the race you should get the option of tire choice. Like a little overlay on the starting grid: this way you can start with the option tire (or prime). If this screen not appears then something is wrong. Thus not in the setup but at start, but i don't know if this also works for online? Maybe you always get the option tire online... developers can answer this.
The overlay you talking about does not appear. And some drivers start with prime other with option tires.
it is not random for sure, it is the same for everyone, i would say it is prime, but...does it really matters atm?
Answer: and it's Random. Today i drive 3 races: 2 Times with Prime on Start and one time with Option! where is the system ?
Hi all, Tire choice is random(multiplayer).It's difficult to fight with players who have option tires(inequality).We should have the choice especially on server where pits stop are activated(Lausitzring DTM Exp 2014). Degradation of the tire doesn't vary depending on the duration of the race.
I've also noticed that. Hopefully the Sector 3 will patch this soon. As it makes racing online unfair.
