How would you convince a simracer to buy this game?

What distinguish RaceRoom Racing Experience from the others sims out there? ATM

This is going to be purely subjective so I'd be inclined to focus on the following:

    • Immersion - as a complete package, the overall experience / enjoyment / satisfaction is excellent and certainly more engaging than most other sims, some of which can feel bland and detached.
    • FFB - once you find the right settings, it's very detailed and rewarding, more so than most.
    • Sound - incredible and a real eye [ear] opener in terms of how important this really is. A significant contributing factor to point 1.
    • Content - A great variety of cars / series / tracks with some real surprises.
    • Development support - all aspect of the sim are under constant improvement and refinement - I tried this a while back and didn't like it at all; it feels like a completely different sim.
    • Community - This seems to be far more mature/tolerant than most I've encountered.

+ Free to play (5 cars and 2 tracks with 9 total different layouts) and try before buy (test drive any car you want before buying it)
    + Best sound engine around
+ Immersion level (racing experience is incredible)
+ Great and highly customizable FFB to meet your driving style
+ Official pilot names, categories, cars and liveries (compatible with licensing)
+ Superb track quality (I mean... look at Bathurst!)
+ Constantly updated with new tracks and cars
    + DTM 92!!
    + Lan-like Netcode
+ Finally Artificial Intelligence and not Abysmal Intelligence
    + Custom Offline Championship
    + Customizable dedi servers
+ MMO competitions with in-game prizes and actual professional pilot to race with/against
+ Web portal with tons of statistics, global and friends leaderboard, ghost challenges and much more
+ Great community support and devs response
+ Superb graphic for a DX 9 game and greatly optimized so you don't have to have a $4k+ BEAST to run everything at maximum detail
+ Regular monthly updates and no shit-chat or false promises from devs

Just... throw your money at them you won't regret it!!

Quite simply, R3E is the best all-round package. I think it offers something for everyone.

It's a simple question with even more simple answer :D You can buy what you like at a decent price + it has so many competitions and chances to win a free content that I have never seen it before in any other games :)

Off topic: When can we expect to get our rewards from Fanatec Competition? :p

This one mostly. I don't care for an Alfa 155 if their 1993 competitors aren't there.

Id have to say I have a dozen sims installed on my PC back to GT Legends and this is the one I tend to gravitate back to everytime.
The challenges and leader board challenges are always great to compete in when you just want a quick play too.

The easiest way to convince somebody... Let them play it. In this day and age everyone has a voice, so you will get 10m different opinions if you ask advice etc. You will have loads telling you Iracing is the only way to go, some hailing Pcars as the saviour of sims, AC as the 'only choice'. The only way for them to truly believe what you tell them is for them to see it for themselves.

    Selling points for me:-
    - FFB. Best I have ever used, no question.
    - Audio. Again, nothing comes close, really adds to the immersion.
Many more, but I have to go to bed and cant be up all night typing lists.

I'll just second this post. Totally agree, especially with the immersion facotr. I have a friend who i'm trying to convert, but he's using an Occulus - apparently r3E Rift support is not that great yet
