can anybody please help? when i start this game in steam i get a pop up that says File: 'C:\Users\Jerry\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\Log\Game_2016_03_05_23_15_56_141.log':A. Do you want to continue? and whether i say yes or no it just stops. I am running windows 10 pro. Any ideas?
Im sorry i don't have a solution but I have a similar problem with win8 where the game is crashing my comp when I open it. Hopefully there's a solution
hm, yeah - thats really strange... Do you have made alot of settings in RaceRoom? If not, you can try to delete the whole "MyGames\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\"-Folder. Maybe the game has cached something that doesn't exists anymore. But after deleting, all your settings (Controler, Car-Setups, etc.) are deleted as well and have to be redone...
i havent even made it that far. i click on it the little image pops up that says preparing to start raceroom and then the little dialogue i mentioned pops up
So the mygames\simbin\raceroom...-folder doesn't exist under your documents-folder? In that case it seems that raceroom has not the permission to create files in that folder. Have you tried starting steam in admin-mode, too?
First thing you should always try is to verify the steam files if you have installed it via steam. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 Maybe some files are damaged. Steam will redownload the files for you then. If the folder mygames\simbin exists, delete it and let the game create a new one. I am also on Windows 10 Pro, I even have my documents folder moved to another drive. No problems here. Maybe you also want to try to disabe your Anti-Virus software.
mygames/simbin doesnt exist. already tried verifying. running steam in admin mode. not sur ehow to give raceroom permission to write files. and antivirus is disabled
Right now you won't be able to play anyway because there's planned maintenance. Perhaps after the patch it'll work again!
