bad compare. In simrace your ass sitting in the seat, in real car your ass sitting in the seat.
special forces killer everyday runs as horse with 30 kg of equipment. When your ass sitting in CS - you never be a special forces killer.

In real racing, drivers train all their lives to race. They have work-out routines specifically geared toward preparing them for seat time. One thing they don't do, is say, "Hey! Didn't i tell you tools to turn off all of the assists!?" While "your" ass is in a sim seat, you'll never be a "real racer". You must be all the rage at parties! ;)

Real race drivers want to win. Assists help with it. I like hardest modes to understand car in extreme situations. I dont want win. I need training applicable to non-sport cars. Assists dont help with it.

Try a save driving training with an instructor, who can point you to your mistakes?

Everyone has their own reasons to do simracing. For example, I do it simply to spend my free time and enjoy well-detailed physics. I don't think I'm going to use these skills in real life.

If you want training then you can turn off assists and train by yourself. You don't need anyone else to race against. Problem solved.

huh? what are you training for? every slightly modern car had mandatory drivers aids. if you're training for sim stuff, just drive.

Hey may be struggling with a complex of some sort. :( Probably falls short with real life stuff. This may be how he compensates. Perhaps we should practice some understanding, and be accepting of his possible shortcomings. We should "assist" in any way we can. Of course he will refuse the "assists", however, we will feel good knowing we reached out. I for one am feeling pretty good about us. ;)
