Please ony vote if you have played the game since the Thursday 18th Patch and played it before then to be able to compare If you are finding game booting and access to multiplayer lobbies is taking longer please post a comment with the region you are playing from. Do you notice a difference at certain times of the day or not? My case: Very slow loading to initial splash screen. Region: Spain Connection: Hardwired 600/600 Ethernet fibre. Eliminated: RRE full reinstall from 0 no change.
My case: Little "Loading" splash screen appears instantly. Full-screen loading screen within 15-20 seconds. Main menu within 28-30 seconds. So no different than it was before. I'm in the UK, ~75Mbps internet speed, wired connection.
Internet is running slow in many places i beleve , so might be worth flipping your dns to another one , i know im struggling even loading the forum sometimes ..... Andi
I should have defined slow better. Loading from the splash screen to full screen takes about 1m30. Once there, the other menus go through within seconds but loading multiplayer and actually seeing the lobby list takes about a minute more. Before the patch it was about 45 seconds max to get to the lobby list so about 3 times longer now. I have tried on 2 different computers so it is likely to be either my connection but more likely patch related as it was fine before then. One important point is that as I use a laptop, I can see the Nvidia card switch on. Before it would do so almost immediately and stay on while the game was running but now it flickers on then stays off until the 1m30 has passed.
