Is there a "friends list" option RR?

I had a fun experience where somebody much faster than I held back and told me to catch up and to follow their line. They were the most helpful person I've ever encountered in 15+ years online gamming.

I wanted to add them as a friend, but I realized I can't really find any "friend" options in the game. Do they exist?
