Is there an option to get the old track markers

I know that they were frowned upon but for me they would greatly help me learn new tracks. Is there a way to add the old markers?

 

you can turn them on in visual settings, if memory serves me right its the bottom settings in the list, so scroll all the way down!

Please be aware that afaik newer tracks do not have the old big corner markers implemented.

 

If I'm not mistaken, yes, there is:
Option > Video Settings > Custom Settings > Corner Markers - turn it to "on" and that should do the trick.

One thing I'm not sure of: maybe those corners markers were not implemented for the newer tracks (ie, tracks introduced after the corner markers were already being phased out). ?

Then don't count on corner markers. You'll be faster for sure

 

Ok this definitely helped my laptimes to the point where I won't need them anymore on the Nurburgring

 

Apex Hunt is worth a try too...quite hard and fun once you move up a notch or two.
