Is this game dead?

I`ve sunk over 600 hours, and almost as many £££ into this game , but I`ve now moved on. The last major update was 3 months ago and the last content I bought was the F2 open wheeler. I`d come back to this sim in an instant if there was any movement on the features front, but nothing appears to be happening and S3 remain resolutely silent. R3E has much to recommend it, but the inability to change even the most fundamental settings such as tyre pressure means it lags behind the main contenders to such a degree that I can`t play it.

 

Well, i don't think it's dead; maybe some kind of "winter sleep"

It is not dead, it just had been rather quiet recently. Recently as in the last few months.

 

I'm ok with the Dev's not just repeating what has already been stated, if J-F Chardon tells me they've been sidetracked with other things and they're a bit behind because of bugs that need ironing out then there are the facts for all to read, might not like it, none of us do but it will be when it is! Sucks big time but not as if anyone can do anything other than what's being done. The forum does keep me amused with the conspiracy theories (Yes I've stirred the pot ) and pessimistic posts, funny how all the negativity equates to the enthusiasm people have for the Sim, now if there were cobwebs in the corners here, then I would get worried!
Jeez I do hope this enigma Patch is soon though as it's definitely picked up an echo in here!

the game is near death, but i heard they are working on resuscitation, a special doctor from the USA together with an assistent from germany flyed to Sweden to assist resuscitation.

So, what can go wrong? Some doctors from switzerland are there too to help but they still wait what happens.

If nothing helps an european hospital is allready awaiting swedish patients hehe

 

its a shame that we cant retweak and rebuild some end users ....;

More and more locked dedicated servers and less RR-Servers.
Where have all the GT3 servers gone??? What did I pay for???

I'll wait the patch, but if things don't change, i'll leave RRR.
It's too much annoying driving 90% of the time free content with a countless bunch of idiots on the track..

how do you cope with the smell? sorry couldnt resist
rr servers are there,press server name and scroll down.Most of them are empty so enter one and hopefully more will follow.Its a bit annoying for me too that so many servers are locked but what can you do,also team racing is awesome u should try

 

I can only talk for my situation here cuz I don't own every track and car available (only 11 tracks + free content tracks and 8 cars from different classes + ADAC GT Masters 2014 & 2015 + free content cars).
But the few servers left are empty cuz of either miserable pings, and/or annoying stuttering (e.g. Nordschleife with 36 free places), and/or lagging when someone joins, and/or unacceptable session times, and/or.. etc..

For me it seems that for every new dedicated server a regular server bounces out of the list.

I bought the content from Sector3. Thats why I think I should be given the opportunity from them to drive this content on their servers without joining foreign groups/servers.
