IIRC, it was added a while ago, and subsequently removed because there was a lot of trolling from players deliberately causing other players to get DQ'ed by ramming them before the lights had changed

Yes, this should be a option in dedicated server settings to enable this on password protected league races.
Not only with SRS, but al online races By the way, i think that with SRS more races will destroy A lot of races i did with SRS you see a lot of drivers who won't finish the race. With realistic start i think a lot more driver won't end the race
I really like how AC deals with this - immediately throws you into the pits and you have to wait under penalty. People are too ridiculous to have it be realistic. They’ll ruin other people’s race. But man I dislike the current throttle down and magic start timing, no clutch even.
Iracing have there rolling starts and stand still starts. Guess the drivers in there are more "mature" or just better educated on how to behave during starts all by them selfs
So much education... so much good behaving.. My experience in iracing has been a lot of start failures that cause other innocent people to lose their time/race/fun.
Well if the video is a real race start or not I can't say (might as well be a closed community troll video ) ... But there is always the protest system where you let the admins deal with this problem. There is never gonna be a 100% fool prof system as humans tend to show there stupidity when they compete against eachother.
