Hello I recently built another rig for the living room that will drive a 4kTV when I compare loading times vs my other setup (triple 27 1080p screens), it takes much longer to load a session. is that because of the textures amount that need pre loading/rendering in 4k? is there any tweaking I could make to improve these loading times? thanks so much Olivier
How long have you been playing on your new rig? I ask because there seemed to be some server issues yesterday, which were greatly increasing my own loading times and causing the occasional error.
I set it up last week. but to be fair,I had also noticed longer loading times when I moved from single 1920x1080 to triple monitor 5760x1080 resolution hence my thinking about textures amount increasing loading times.
I'm not sure. Do the texture resolutions actually increase, or does the game simply upscale to 4k? The former could explain it I guess, though it wouldn't explain the increase when using triples as I doubt that would affect actual texture resolution.
