    Hi

After a troublesome earlier install that showed similar trouble I reinstalled RR today and tried to make it work with my Logitech FF EX wheel. Works with AC, ACC and WRC just fine, so the wheel itself is not the issue..

It is recognized (though only after you exit the select profile section [after using the Detect device option], a bit unlogical).
After it has been selected it keeps on showing a -keyboard under the profile name. The device ID section shows 2 ID's of devices
    ID 0 - keyboard
ID 1 - Logitech FF RX (wheel is recognized like that)

How to link the right device (ID 1) to my created profile?

    Many thanx in advance!

just use the edit assignements to bind the wheel and pedal inputs ; that should then free up the ffb settings

The editing of the assignments does not work. No reaction at any action of turning, acceletration or braking....

How do I select and edit ID1, aka the wheel.
Or is there a file I could edit to bind it?

    Anyone any ID's??? ;)

I am having the same problem.
    Recently reinstalled RR
G 27 is recognized and I see the default profile.
On advanced page, there is no input from steering, pedals or buttons.
I cannot edit button or wheel assignments.
I have reinstalled the game, deleted files in user/docs...
    Verified game files in steam
    reinstalled wheel and drivers.
    Searched forum for other solutions.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    thank you

    I did not.

However, it stated working on its own yesterday after restarting the game

I tried everything I could think of.

reinstalled the game and device drivers twice

I was ready to delete it. I started it last night and it was working.

The good news is that the force feedback with my old G 27 in RR is very good.

I hope you get it working.
