    We have built a example app on top the API which was used for the DTM Virtual Championship race today.

    We hope to release it sometime in the near future, but for now, if you want to get an idea of how it can look when "themed" check it out here:

    If anyone wants to test out the example application we used for the DTM race above I've attached a zip. This isn't final so don't expect any support for this but feel free to tinker around (assets/components/widgets folder might be most interesting).


    To get started:
    1. Install http://nodejs.org/
    2. Run start.bat
    3. Add -broadcastUrl=http://localhost:9090 in Steam Game launch
    4. Open http://localhost:9090 in browser
    5. Join mp server

    But there is one important thing. If the server is full u cannot join. So if u want to stream a race be sure that you join as spectator before the server is full.

    But its right that the spectator doesn't use a slot.

    So i've made a new theme for the WebOverlay . U can put these files into you spectator folder and it will exchange the DTM Theme . Because i dont have knowledge into CSS i cannot create a new Button to change from the Generic and DTM to the new theme. Maybe someone has a solution how to add a new theme besides the Generic and DTM Theme.

    So i updated my theme and kicked out the DRS widget inside the focusedDriver. Because it make no sense to have a DRS widget when u are Streaming a GT Masters or a GT2 Race. Just redownload the spectator_theme.rar and exchange the files.

    Notice:
    If u want back the DTM Theme because i used that as basic be sure u download the files from @mape and use this one.

    Time for a small update that adds sector times to "focused driver" during practice and qualify, as well as some vehicle info during race. Also included a very early and basic automatic camera switcher.

    I know there was not supposed to be any support for the early example app but @Koopman and I both found a little bug in the interface in the browser when accessed from another PC or device (on the same network, we entered our local IP plus the 9090 part, so like 192.168.2.2:9090). We wanted to test if we could run the game on our main PC and have the interface (where you can choose drivers and camera's etc) run on another PC or device. He was trying to run the interface on a Macbook and I tried both an Iphone and Ipad and the app and the functions worked as they should. The problem was that on all three platforms the buttons on the right (where you choose the different overlay apps like the timer and standings) where very small and placed on top of each other making it difficult to click the right one.

    I also tried another browser on the Ipad (standard is Safari on all three of course) but the same thing happened. We also ran the interface on the same machine where the game was running and it worked there so the files are not broken. We tested a couple of hours ago but didn't take any screenshots. Might do that if you guys would like to see it.


    Other than that, really great initiative and a good start! :)
