Don't ask me why but it seems to be a solution for me. I just have to reboot my box (freebox) AFTER my pc is started !!! If it can help some one or sector3 to fix this issue ...
I have the 503 problem every time I play, I don't even know what a freebox is so I doubt it would help me.
Probably not. Freebox is the router French ISP "Free" uses. They seem to have connection issues in general. @F1Aussie : When did you start having these 503's? There were some submarine cables that got cut that affected Australian Internet. This was over a month ago I think so I'm not entirely sure how things are at the moment.
Hi Sonat, thanks for the explanation, I have been having 503 issues for about 5 months now. Every time I start the game I get that error message and have to login. After that sometimes it works sometimes the game crashes but Then when I restart it it is all okay.
I've had similar problems for about the last 2 months. Almost every time I log in to RRE, I get the 503 error mesage. All I do then is to close RRE and re-log in and it connects. It's very consistent. I'm also an Aussie.
I get the 503 error randomly, but having said that I can also say that since the big update 3 or so weeks back, it has only happened twice. What was that about Submarine cables ? Our government just signed a contract for the French to build us new submarines ~ both the Japanese & Germans were bit put out at losing the contract so perhaps they sabotaged our cables !? sneaky buggers
