What would you say if devs could take in consideration doing something funky with moods and some physic effects applied to them? Minor things that could alter the game experience... what if there was a "freaking cold morning", or a "hot like hell afternoon". Tyres, brakes and engine temp would be altered, maybe just a little but enough to change a bit of your driving style... Also, I wouldn't mind getting a new "foggy" or "about to storm" or "hazy" mood... and of course... some night race would be great! Honestly it doesn't bother me the fact that (maybe) we won't have the 24hr cycle... we can simulate the time cycle using different moods setup in the option of the dedi servers interface for each session, but I'd really like to see more of these driving moods with different environmental fx! Thoughts?
Good idea SKRO! And again, an option to choose random moods! Very much needed in the Experiences and now with customizable championship on the way!!
...so what I actually meant is that maybe we can get a slider with the "wind & temperature" values to play with (as it's currently shown at the beginning of each race session) and we can then recreate some actual weather situation. My thinking was: wouldn't be cool, either if we're simulating a virtual MP league or an offline championship, to get the exact weather forecast/condition for that day and then apply to our event? Quick example: WTCC 2013 @ Hungaro Ring, Sunday March 22nd Current local weather forecasts [/IMG] Practice Session 11AM-12AM temp: as shown mood: noon condition: cloud or sunny Quali 1PM - 2PM: temp: as shown, mood: afternoon, condition: rain!! Race 3PM - 4PM temp: as shown mood: afternoon, condition: cloudy or sunny Something like this?
Realtime weather feature would be cool. e.g.) Microsoft Flight Simulator X The FSX can download a snapshot of real-world weather from Jeppesen every 15 minutes. ( currently it's not working though. ) So if I choose the realtime option in R3E, the game automatically updates session weather. I would love to see raining in the green hell sector 2 while sector 3 is sunny.
