If I could like this idea more I would brilliant! ..also MONDEO .. I own a mk2 limited edition saloon in imperial blue
The Trans Am North American Road racing series is what I'd like to see. If nothing else it would give that poor mustang some company
After further research, I found the 1995 FIA Touring Car World cup, which did exactly what I mentioned above. Here is a list of cars and the series they came from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1995_FIA_Touring_Car_World_Cup We could call it "R3E International Touring Series" or "Sector3 Touring Car Challenge" Or "Raceroom is Driving old folks cars" What about multi-class in this fictional series as well? OH the possibilities........... The winner of the series get's an all expense paid trip to their own kitchen so they can spray a can of beer....or soda (for those not old enough to drink) - cleanup optional
yeah, I made that suggestion directly to the developers already as well as the classic Trans Am series cars Tommy Kendall's AllSport Mustang Greg Pickett's Roush Mercury Capri Paul Newman's (the actor) 300zx Turbo Paul Gentilozzi's Oldsmobile Cutlass Hans Stuck's Audi 200 Quattro Ron Fellow's Camaro But I have the feeling they will drive like the 92 DTM mustang if it were implemented. lol I suspect the track modeling/scanning and licensing would be an issue. It would take years - if not impossible for some of the street road courses. Phoenix, Mosport, Lime Rock, Detroit, Portland, Cleveland, Trois Rivieres, Watkins Glen
Awesome! I had the North American mk1 variant. Most fun to drive car I ever had. It was perfect for short road courses. At some point, ya gotta grow up (or so I was told). So I sold it and all my competition equipment. Now - between the sims, latest graphics cards, monitors, computer parts, fast internet, tire rubber incense, glass with alittle gas & oil next to my desk........ I'm spending as much, just to simulate the experience I already lived.....*FACEPALM*
I'm surprised no one has asked for F1. I would love to see in game F1 from different eras. I know to buy the license of all cars of one season can be very expensive, but is not necessary. Just as Reiza Studios has done with its excellent GCSE without paying licenses. They have five different periods of F1 and their cars are the best open wheelers of any sim. If anyone has not tried it yet, do not know what they are missing, they are simply amazing. Formula Extreme is a F1 2014 Formula Reiza is a F1 2012 Formula V12 is a F1 1996 Formula Classic is a F1 1988 Formula Retro is a F1 1975 Sector 3 should do something like that. But this is not all... I agree with WEC and of course the Le Mans track is a must. Audi R18 is coming, be nice to have more LMP1 cars like the Porsche 919 Hybrid, Toyota TS030 Hybrid and many more. And finally, I'd like to see rally cars of Group B and more hillclimb tracks to enjoy them.
I agree we need more non European series. Japanese, American, Australian ect... I dont really care for american motor sport but i still want it represented in the game currently we have gtr2 and that's about it (not counting single car series) for america. australia and asia both have a single track and no cars.
I seem to remember SIMBIN went down the generic formula content with formula race room - not sure if that would suit this title but hey I'd drive it - GP2 would be cool... Love to see: Trans Am 2 Trans Am Classic STCC Also love to see classic v8 Supercars - Maybe somewhere 93 - 97 (or how about 71 with the GTHO Phase 3 - then the worlds fastest 4 door)? With these classic series tobacco issues may come in I guess. And would some manufacturers and EA stop being such aholes with their licensing!
When it comes to open wheels, I'm not a huge fan.. But I really enjoy the less powered Formula Vee in SCE, Skip Barber in iR and the Formula Rockie in pC (if it wasn't for the AI that is).. And also love the Lotus 49! So a low powered, along with something nasty for the hardcore fans. And some classics for the enthusiasts would be great!
A multiClass series. GT4 / GT3 / LMP2 and LMP1. We know that Audi LMP1 is coming. AUS V8SP with all track pack.
I enjoy the DTM 1992 and the older cars in SimBin games, so another vintage series. I also really liked the STCC.....so how about vintage STCC?
R3Es touring classics are the 1985 Group A cars are they not? So how about the: Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV/6 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16 Nissan Bluebird Turbo and the: Ford Sierra XR4 TI
I think the touring classics are a mixture of classic Group A Touring Cars from 1983 (635csi) - 1992(M3).
I like the choices in R3R. It has many different race cars to choose from, and almost all a lot of fun. Nevertheless, I would be about some new racing series offers. - GT4 series (GTR 4) - FIA GT 1997/1998 (or the old BPR) - TCR - BTCC - ITC 1996 - V8 Supercars - Super Touring Cars 1990 - 1999 - Praga R1 Cup - Lotus Cup Europe - Pirelli World Challenge (GT, GTS, GT Cup) - Seat Leon Eurocup
